How To Print An Entire Folder Of Documents At Once

Posted by in Time Savers

Printing an entire folder of documents could take hours if there are dozens of files to open and CTRL-P and click OK on…. but it turns out there’s a much better way. You can print an entire folder of files simply by dragging and dropping!

1. Put all of the documents you want to print in one place.

Printing with this method will work smoothly if all documents are PDFs. If there are other apps (like Word, Powerpoint, Photoshop) required to open a file in the list like a .doc or .psd, it will add time to the process automatically opening each file individually before printing.

2. Find out what your printer is called.

Open the Printers & Scanners pane in the System Preferences app, and decide which printer you plan to use.

3. Search your mac for the specific printer’s app and open it.

4. Drag and drop your files into the queue to print…. and done!
